Getting there

The conference starts with dinner on Saturday evening. Arrangements will be made for a bus to take the participants from Prague to the conference center and back. The bus will be leaving from Prague on Jan 25, 16:00 from the Institute of Mathematics building at Žitná 25. The bus back from Štěkeň is expected to be in Prague on Feb 1, between 11:30 and 12:30.

Štěkeň Chateau

The school takes place in the rural chateau Štěkeň run by Congregatio Jesu. The chateau provides lodging mostly in double rooms, each equipped with a bathroom. The lecture hall is equipped with a data projector and a blackboard. Wifi internet is available in the lexture hall, but not in the rooms. Warm clothes are recommended. There is no bar in the chateau. A chapel is available for spiritual use.

The market town of Štěkeň

Štěkeň is a market town in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants. Štěkeň lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Strakonice, 48 km (30 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 96 km (60 mi) south of Prague.

A small grocery store is open every day in Štěkeň (on workdays till 18:00, at the weekend till 11:00). There might be also a restaurant operating.
